ITT HURTSS!!!!

One of  the very rare things that we,as common people(so called aam  junta), could very well foretell or predict, especially at present, is the hike in fuel prices . .  even further more…..the facts which goad  me to this very conjuncture ,  are the quixotic and unpragmatic ideas,policies and approach being undertaken and executed by our so called representatives….the govt…

            We as citizens of this country,decide n select  our representatives to run our country by exercising our basic  rights.n that’s the reason why v always tend to belief and respect the people in power..considering the global economic meltdown(recession in the west n European debt crisis), the manner in which the world looked upon  us, as a ray of hope , taking into account our formidable performance across major sectors of economy, was very  gratifying n gave us the moment to cherish, being citizens of this country……but that turned out to be a short and sweet fairy tale. Succumbing to global economic crisis and policy paralysis, we are feeling the heat now….resulting in dwindling GDP growth,each n every quarter by quarter,  and reaching the levels far below the expected ones…..

            Having been failed In framing efficient economic policies and unable to find pragmatic solutions, in order to overcome the financial debt and crisis, the govt does what,  it actually turns back to us….considering the junta as its revenue source, as always, govt raises the direct taxes,service taxes, price of chief commodity fuels, n the list goes onnnn…..and the reasons cited are increase in crude prices in the global markets and losses burgeoning on indin oil companies, because of the subsidies given by the govt…. to further obfuscate the aam junta n to lead us astray…..

            But evn then, v believe in those  facts and figures because somewhere v know , our economists and leaders are more learned n experienced and have considerable financial/business acumen, and whatever will be done, will be for the progress and development of the economy and of the citizens ,as a whole…

                        But then, when u analyse the  outcome…  say for example, even poorer GDP  growth(5.3% In the recent quarter) , hampered  production and manufacturing sectors, n not to forget,the price rise….your faith gets chopped down into innumerable pieces and certainly takes a severe beating  …….

            To say the least……ITT HURTSSSS!!!!!!……

Coming out of the monetary and political paradigms, there comes the social one…..it comprises of ur family, relatives, society n the friends….. its said that…life is a vehicle which is driven with the help of wheels called FAMILY,but the journey is impossible without  the fuel called FRIENDS…. and  rightly so…u come  across many people around urself, and some of them dig a special place in ur heart and life….. u share with them ur thoughts,feelings,whereabouts and on n on n on…….but life doesn’t give uu everything…u come across times and moments when either uu separate from ur dear ones or they do so…bcz of certain reasons ofcourse… …

but when uu think of the time u have had with them or him/her,  the moments u shared ,u lived,..U certainly realize, life may not offer uu that again ….and at that instant …it painzzz… rather, still….

To say the least……ITT HURTSSSS!!!!!!....

POLITICS OF POLITICS

I don’t find 02 feb , as a day, holding or having any specific significance in the history of our country after independence. However , after the SC’s decisive verdict(under justice AK GANGULY) on the 2G SCAM, cancelling all the 122 licenses of 2G SERVICES , allocated during the reign of A.RAJA (the then telecom minister) has definitely imprinted 02 feb(2012) in the history of modern India’s democracy. The apex court’s judgment(including the Vodafone’s tax evasion case), has once again proved that, our legal system is foolproof and not bound or controlled by the people in governance, which makes it  more sustainable, powerful and respectful in eyes of  the whole world…

But, Indian Politics is always ready to bifurcate the issues, in a sense, to obfuscate the entire country. Cancelling of licenses has clear implications that there was a considerate amount of wrongdoing in the handling of 2G allocation process. But, rather than, accepting its own failure or inability, in stymieing such illegal n unaccountable process, Congress came out strongly in its defence,inculpating BJP and it’s so framed “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE” policy for the whole debacle….i find this extremely unpalatable I m sure many  of uu ll too… 

Adding to this, the way all the political parties, contesting in the undergoing elections in the five states, are going, it appears even more obnoxious. To woo voters, all kinds N types of fundas are being applied. Political parties, as before, shall never jettison the morbid logic of vote-bank politics.  To factualise, consider some among many:

--  SP(in UP) n AKALI JANTA DAL(in PUNJAB),have promised to  provide high school and senior secondary school students i-pads n laptops(rather than  promising n making concerted efforts, to ameliorate computer education at school level broadly)….

-- Congress’s using superb tactics to woo muslim voters by offering them a lollypop of 9% subquota (though 4.5% is the decided one) in OBC quota, unmindful of even warnings issued (to law minister SALMAN KHURSHID) for Violating the CODE OF CONDUCT during elections…

--  BJP resorting to its ram-janmabhumi  trump-card even now, without contemplating whether it makes any sense now  or not…

--  BSP has thrown plethora of welfare schemes which seems quixotic n far-fetched.

This clearly highlights that our political system is still engraved with the vote-bank politics, with the politicians, appearing senseless of real issues n challenges, which r jeopardizing our country’s probity and stature, both at national and international level….

            As citizens of this country and to improve the efficacy of our democracy, it’s essential that we have quintessential knowledge of our political system, so as to properly understand the “POLITICS OF POLITICS” , in order to regulate our rights and duties in best possible way.

Clash Of The TITANS

            Ohh please!!!!!! Don’t u even dare to think, it has got  anything to do with India versus Australia  just concluded, TEST CRICKET. After viewing India’s dismal performance in the test series(in Australia), I’m not gonna inculpate TEAM INDIA (at least for now)…Had it been about that, my header would have then read “The Demolition Of Titans”  However, if you thought so, one thing still remains common..The place “ AUSTRALIA”.....

            ‘Miraculous’, one of the banners read in the audience(s) and so it was. For those who haven’t got me yet, I’m talking about the AUSTRALIAN OPEN (especially, the last two semi-finals(men)) …how marvelous the past two days have been,for the Australian open n not to forget , to the TENNIS LOVERS…..Top four seeds in the the world of tennis(men’s category), playing out each other to reach the pinnacle of the tournament, yes, the Finals, battling out injuries, immense pressure and  the burgeoning expectations…Both the semi-finals (nadal vs federer and novak vs murray) were breathtaking, irresistible and pleasure to watch…..

            With, every other shot, every next game n every followed set, there was either a applauding  wowww….or a crying ohhh!!!!(In case my fav missed any point). But the kind of passion and spirit with which, the games were being played, by all of them, is hugely commendable. it has, innocuously , bolstered the  sport probity in a true sense …..

            Finally, the top two (novak n nadal), n the best, have made it to the finals..... Let’s see, who walks away with this grand slam title, adding another feather to his cap. So, remain tuned, to-morrow, at 2 pm…to re-view the “Clash Of The Titans”

THE DWINDLING DILEMMA - A Ray Of Hope

                                                                       

   It is  in the years before  aug 1947 ,where we actually find examples  of perfect  congregation  of people from all cross-section of societies ,who had devoted themselves  for a common cause—which was then “INDEPENDENCE”. The next such mass movement or protest (at least for the generation of my age)that caught  the eyeballs of every individual  was “INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTION” movement led by shri ANNA HAZARE. Everything  went off well, from a behemoth  public support , to politicians actually feeling  the anger burgeoning  within each n every individual  regarding the far-stretched  corruption  in public life  which further goaded them to pass the sense of the house, as a promise that the recommendations proposed by TEAM ANNA would be seriously considered while drafting the LOKPAL BILL.

               However, TEAM ANNA took everything for granted from there on, even sometimes seeming procrustean, which somewhere, down the line, hampered their   image n movement. Though, TEAM ANNA began the campaign as a totally unbiased political movement,  they  ended up  scathing only the ruling party for sabotaging the passage of the LOKBAL BILL 2011 in the upper house in the winter session(although it is the prerogative of the entire parliament to pass the legislation), appearing biased and flummoxed to a great extent. Further, their  decision to campaign only against CONGRESS(as they are in power) in the coming elections in the five states drew more flak as it somewhere lent  credence to the burgeoning views that they  are working in alliance  with the left parties(especially BJP N RSS). This in turn, combined with the tepid response that TEAM ANNA received during their last protest (going along with parliament proceedings ) at MUMBAI, enfeebled  the whole movement, as described by many.

            But then, drowning the confusions n  realizing the ethics, essence n probity of a national movement, TEAM ANNA decided in a haste not to put the complete onus on the ruling party for the debacle of  LOKPAL BILL and said it would abstain from campaigning against CONGRESS, albeit, it was their major play card earlier….

                 Having decided this, it seems the dilemma surrounding the TEAM ANNA, on further course of actions, is ebbing away fast and in true sense should be carried forward to embolden the ANTI-CORRUPTION MOVEMENT in a concerted manner to make people realize, the importance of such campaigns, their moral responsibility towards our democracy and the  need of a strong mechanism which can work as a panacea  to treat the malady of CORRUPTION…………..

FLAK and APPRECIATION

                                               

Many a time, we work hard. Sometimes harder. A few times, much harder… certainly to reach the pinnacle of our desired objectives n ultimately to achieve them. These objectives can be our short-sighted goals with reference to any particular activity or childhood determination…

Apart from our diligent efforts, two major entities that guide us towards our objective are “Flak n Appreciation”. Appreciation, no wonder, is always heartily welcomed…bcz it always boosts up our  self confidence n  natural probity…  n also equips   us with name n fame(in some respect), but, even then we virtually understand what v have achieved.. .

However, criticism provides better insight to our objectives. I think, Rather than just highlighting our accomplishments, it makes us realize, what we were expected of, n what v have actually come up with  in reality, underlining the  feeble conclusions, of our work ,which would have remained concealed or far-fetched ,in case  of  modicum  of   appreciation….          in fact, I  would  not   hesitate    to  call                          “FLAK” -----“an APPRECIATION”…..

RESOLUTION

As soon as the celebrations ,crackers n much more marks the beginning of a new year,many of us come across a very common and noble question(atleast for them if not for u):what's your resolution?
the "Resolution" has always been associated with the commencement of new year(especially now-a-days).To put up from my side,i believe it may be bcz v many a time refrain from some of our desired objectives n look for other alternatives to score over them ,thus pushing them to abeyance..however,when v have fribbled up enough & when v find ourselves flummoxed,our quest for another alternative(obviously the best)to reconvene the still kept abeyant objective begins..n there comes "The NEW YEAR"..
but does this concealment of Resolution only with new year the only way,to achieve ur still kept abeyant objective?definately not.Resolutions are basically made with the objective,to strengthen or to develop your ability or urself in a particular field uu have been longing for in a best possible etiquette.the day 1 decides,he/she has to do this,that should mark the beginning of a new year,rather than just frittering away time in wait for a new year to begin..
So,letzz push ourselves up,to a new level,to join the pool of KNOCKING COMPETITORS..n to certainly come out as WINNERS....
MAY THE COMING DAYS BRING UU ALL MUCH MORE GOOD HEALTH WITH  LOTS OF LUCK N LOT OF WEALTH...HAPPY NEW YEAR..
by the way...whatzz ur resolution????
